Ride portions of or entire Trail of the Cour d'Alanes 72 uninterrupted Rail to Trail Miles. 144 round trip

Gerry n Joe will be checking in to CDA River Resort in Cataldo on the 16th. Space 11. The CG is pretty wide open 4 very clean bathroom showers.

Right on river and Bike Trail. Non riding significant others encouraged as trail is paved, car free, and very flat. Scenery unmatched.

Rider Level: C (12-14 mph avg) - flat to rolling hills

Terrain: Rolling Hills, short enroute (2500' elevation gain)

Distance: 45 Miles

Approx. Time: 4 hours

Ride Description:

Leaving at 9:00 AM from Wenatchee Valley brewery. Ride out via rollers - Cashmere, - Dryden back Steins Hill / Cashmere and Sleepy Hollow to Brewery. Rain cancels. No Drop Ride with several regroups. Overall ride average speed is 12 to 14 MPH "C" Pace.

Ride Leader may vary route depending on weather / traffic conditions.

Fruit Loop and Yaksum Canyon

Weather forecasted to be in 60s at ride start time with high to be in the mid 70's at the finish.

We offer weekly rides on Saturdays that typically start at Wenatchee Valley Brewing Company, led by members of the Velo club. Because we are acting as ride leaders, we HAVE to insist that people sign the wavier, and become members! Completion of membership includes the applicable ride waiver.

Wenatchee Valley Velo supports a multitude of cycling programs and events in the local area. The annual dues from membership along with proceeds from cycling events assist us in promoting safe cycling in our area. Member appreciation events are held throughout the year and are free with your paid membership.

Rider Level: B due to terrain

Terrain: 2,924ft elevation gain, it is flat or down hill until it is not ;-)

Distance: 29.7 miles

Approx. Time: ~3-3.5 hours

Ride Description: Fun beautiful route though, you will climb 2,697 ft within 11.9 miles. The average grade is 3.4%, very doable!

Registration required Monument Ride -Lake Wenatchee/Plain (3 Oct 2026)

Monument Ride

Time: TBD, start time will be posted about a week in advance

Location: Meet at the cabin (10885 Wending Ln, Leavenworth). We have bear in the area; please avoid leaving any food/garbage unattended.

Rider Level: C (13-16 mph avg)

Terrain: Rolling

Distance: ~50miles (2294')

Approx. Time: 3.5-4.5 hours plus the BBQ

Ride Leader(s): Al and Ann

Ride Description:

This ride starts in Plain (10885 Wending Ln - Google Maps) at Al's and Ann's place

50 mile Plain route

Mile 24: Bathroom (outhouse), water, snacks, and hand sanitizer
Mile 38.4: Additional water and snacks

Post ride: Since this is the first weekend of Oktoberfest in Leavenworth, the post‑ride food will include bratwursts, condiments, sauerkraut, and chips. Feel free to contribute a Bavarian‑themed dish if you'd like—no obligation. Water, soda, sparkling water, and some adult beverages will be available. If you’re extra thirsty, please bring additional beverages.

Parking: Please park on either side of the street or in the driveway. DO NOT park in the really convenient cul-de-sac just above Al's and Ann's place.
